We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Venetian Plasterer & Microcement Applicator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the application of decorative plaster finishes and microcement coatings on walls, floors, and various surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surface preparation, troweling techniques, and finishing methods to achieve high-quality, polished results.
Experience with Venetian plaster and microcement is a bonus, but training will be provided for the right candidate with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and priming to ensure proper adhesion.
- Apply Venetian plaster and microcement coatings using traditional and modern techniques.
- Use trowels, spatulas, and polishing tools to achieve smooth, textured, or polished finishes.
- Work on walls, floors, countertops, and bespoke design projects for residential and commercial clients.
- Mix and color-match plaster and microcement to achieve desired shades and textures.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship with attention to detail, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
- Follow project specifications, design briefs, and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Experience in plastering, decorative finishes, or concrete coatings is preferred.
- Knowledge of Venetian plaster and/or microcement application is a plus.
- Strong troweling skills and the ability to create smooth and textured finishes.
- Understanding of surface preparation, adhesion, and sealing techniques.
- Ability to follow technical guidelines and apply materials with precision.
- Comfortable working on interior and exterior surfaces.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a passion for high-end decorative finishes.
- A valid driver’s license (if travel to job sites is required).
