Beginner friendly
Venetian Plaster
Dates: Early 2026
Location: 7b Rakiraki Way, Tauriko, Tauranga
Time: 8.00am-4.00pm daily
Learn the techniques and methods of applying a wide range of Novacolor finishes. This beginner friendly two day course takes you through the basics of venetian plaster application, the tools to use and the technical knowledge to achieve your dream finish.
Includes:
- Two days of training.
- All plaster products and tools needed.
- Learn how to apply the range of Novavolor plasters including our best sellers Maronino KS, Calce Cruda and Concrete by Novacolor.
- Free Co.Me Trowel to take home.
- No prior experience required.
- Lunch provided.
Experienced-applicators only
Microcement Course
Dates: Early 2026
Location: 7b Rakiraki Way, Tauriko, Tauranga
Time: 8.00am-4.00pm daily
Novacolor’s in depth Microcement course will give you hands-on training with Novacolor’s microcement Wall2Floor. Within this two day course you will learn how to prepare various substrates, professionally apply our advanced multi-layer mineral system microcement and how to properly seal and care for the finish. Please note, this is for experienced applicators only.
Includes:
- Two days of training.
- Learn the how to apply the Wall2Floor microcement system in a range of areas.
- Free Co.Me Trowel to take home.

Do I need any prior experience?
Our Venetian Plaster course is designed for beginners and requires no previous experience. However, our Microcement Wall2Floor course is exclusive to experienced applicators with a background in plastering or similar trades.
Do I need to bring any tools?
No need to bring your own equipment. We are able to supply you with all of the tools needed. Our most trusted brand for applying Novacolor products.
What happens if I can't attend my session?
We urge trainees to attend their sessions, as our dates can sometimes be months apart. However if you’re unable to make it we are happy to reschedule you for the next available course.
What products will we work with?
You’ll be working with a range of Novacolor finishes such as ARCHI+, Polished Plaster (Mirror & Florenzia), Iroinic, R-Stone, Swahili, Africa, Dune, Animamundi, Marmorino, CalceCruda (stencilling), Metallo_Fuso and Teodorico.
